Burhani College conducted a ‘NO PLASTIC’ drive at Mumbai’s Crawford Market as part of the commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary — Gandhi Jayanti — on October 2.
Modalities- Over two dozen students of Burhani college, along with staff, faculty and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, went from shop to shop at Crawford Market area of Mumbai, encouraging shop owners to eliminate single- use plastic bags.
