I extend my warm regards to all of you and welcome you to the website, of Burhani College, which is a window to the multi-dimensional world that the college is. In these challenging times when life itself has taken a turn, we at Burhani college shall continue our endeavour to guide the lives and careers of our students so that their future is secure and content.
We are a minority institution and proud of our pedigree. Our founder, the 52 nd Dai al- Mutlaq and head of the Dawoodi Bohra Community, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA showed us the path which is encapsulated in the college’s mission and vision. Today, his noble successor, the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS , is continuing the same legacy of educational excellence and we are constantly enriched by Syedna Saheb’s dedication to the cause of learning, which is also reflected in his second-term Chancellorship of the Aligarh Muslim University.
It is with persistence and unflagging dedication that we channelize our coordinated efforts towards achieving the mission by moulding young and enthusiastic minds for a better and fruitful future. Consequently our students have brought in impressive results, both at the Board exams and the University exams. 2020 being the golden jubilee year of our institution, we reiterate our commitment to achieving greater heights not only in curricular and extra-curricular activities but also in the fields of innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship, so that our students are not caught unawares by the challenges of the 21st century. Our duly qualified and trained faculty work as facilitators in drawing a sensible connect between academics and the practical world, so that the students can make wise decisions in applying their knowledge and skills towards defining and achieving their goals in life.
I would fondly urge our beloved alumni to come and share with us their experiences as professionals, as entrepreneurs, as good human beings.
